Using SmartSQL

The SMART SQL interface allows you to view and administer information about your MySQL database.

From here you can view how much space your database is using, as well as review your username. You can also change your MySQL password.

This screen shows you your MySQL username, which is also the name of your database.

Changing your MySQL Password

If you wish to change your password, simply click on Change Password. This will change only your MySQL password, and does not affect email, FTP or Manage passwords.

NOTE: It is important to note that if you change your MySQL password, you may need to update your site coding if you have referenced your old password.

Our system is provisioner based. Changes mentioned above will not take effect instantly. Our MySQL provisioner will implement your changes every 15 minutes.
